&lt;i&gt;The New Agers I’ve known have been some of the most caring and compassionate people I’ve ever met. Their hearts genuinely ached for the suffering endured by humankind. They exerted more energy in a day toward creating a more peaceful world than most people do in a month&lt;/i&gt;

The idea that our intentions must be guided by goodwill and a concern for the outcome smacks of good old fashioned morality.  I have seen this in abundance in many on both sides of the &quot;woo&quot; line and too often lacking due to it being eclipsed by a person&#039;s beliefs.</description>
